Travesty

I was shopping last night, and as I was looking for my laundry detergent, I found myself humming along with the song that was broadcasting in the store. I stopped for a second and consciously listened to it. It was Bonnie Raitt. I'm not a fan of hers at all, so I didn't know why I was so familiar with this song...and then it hit me. She was singing David Gray's Silver Lining for this horrid CD. Lady, if you're going to rip off one of his songs, at least try to do it justice; you always sound exactly the same, no matter what you croak, so leave the good stuff up to those who know what they're doing. You have no business covering one of David's songs. And your hair scares me.
